West Kernow Motorcycle Engineers are able to do various modifications to your motorcycle to build your streetfighter, chop or lowrider ect.
Here are some pictures of our latest project its a Kawasaki ER5 with a R1 seat unit and ZX7R upside down front forks.
We modified the subframe without any compromise to safety, so the bike can still carry passengers. We utilised the entire R1 unit including the undertray and light unit with only slight modification to the wiring loom.
We Finally finished the Yamaha FZR 1000 Streetfighter project and think you will agree the results are very impressive.
The pictures left and above are the condition we recieved it in, a non running wreck.
These pictures are the finished item, with modifications to the front end, and cooling system.
Modified exhaust system and paint job.
There has been modifications to the rear subframe to take the Ducati seat unit, A different swingarm has been fitted and an Ohlins shock with modification to upper shock mount and a one off manufactured lower shock mount to make the Ohlin work with the non standard arm. A Quadtech speedo has been fitted with wiring modified accordingly, mods to the cooling system and wiring for fan switch to keep the temp down, one off exhaust bracket, and many other items too numerous to mention. We took a risk with this project as the brief was "i want a shiny bike" from the customer, other than that he had no idea what we were building, i dont think the smiles gone from his face since the revealing of the bike to him when he collected it.
